At the meeting, Arawas, who arrived in Tehran this morning at the head of a delegation, conveyed a message from Oman's Sultan Qaboos to the Iranian president.



The envoy is also scheduled to hold separate talks with senior Iranian officials on ways to promote bilateral ties and cooperation.



Arawas will also discuss latest regional and international developments with the Iranian officials.



Arawas was the first foreign envoy who came to Iran to congratulate Ahmadinejad's victory in the 2005's presidential election in person.
