The dam holds 40 million cubic meters water.



President Ahmadinejad, accompanied by his cabinet members, is in the northwestern province of East Azarbaijan.



Some 22 cabinet ministers, advisors to president and vice presidents are accompanying Ahmadinejad.



The president is on a visit to the province on the second round of his tours of East Azarbaijan province to follow up implementation of the projects approved during the first visit.



He took the initiative of visiting different provinces since he took office in 2005 in order to bring closer the government to ordinary people.
