The president, who was addressing a group of local people in Tabriz, said there was also a project on establishment of six new industrial zones and townships in the province.



He said a considerable amount of credit will also be set aside for commissioning of Tabriz urban railway.



He added that there are also plans focusing on development of agriculture and education sectors as well as urban and rural areas of the country.



Elsewhere in his address, President Ahmadinejad said that the era of bullying and arrogance is over.



Addressing himself to the arrogant powers, he said, "You should know that gone is the era of bullying and arrogance. The era of militarism and military build-up is over.



"I advise you to join nations and get back to the path of justice and philanthropy. This is in your interest. Today, problems of mankind are caused by those who have not the least love for human beings.



"Their heart is full of hostility, enmity and ill-wishing. These are those who do others injustice. They want to deprive nations of their absolute rights. They build-up forces, wage wars and imposed economic sanctions.



"You should take lessons from fate of your ancestors. Look and see where your predecessors reached. See what's the fate of Mr. Bush who used to speak with nations arrogantly."

He said that governments should not think about mischief and arrogance.



The president said, "You should know the Iranian nation has defended and will defend its rights with all its might. I advise you to leave Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan."

President Ahmadinejad, accompanied by his cabinet members, is in the northwestern province of East Azarbaijan.



Some 22 cabinet ministers, advisors to president and vice presidents are accompanying Ahmadinejad.
