President in a press conference at the end of Golestan visit:

We should join hands to be able to resolve problems/Appreciating warm welcoming of Golestan Province people

President appreciated the warm welcoming of the people of Golestan Province during his 2-day visit to the province, saying, “People’s welcoming shows that they support the Revolution and the system with all their might”.

Speaking in a press conference at the end of Golestan Province visit, Dr Hassan Rouhani added, “We need to join hands to be able to resolve the problems”.

The President also appreciated the hard work of all authorities and local officials for boosting unity and empathy in the province, adding, “Fortunately, we have a good security in Golestan Province thanks to the devotion of the armed forces”.

On the climate diversity in the province, Dr Rouhani said, “We need to prepare the ground for encouraging people for developing agriculture with high efficiency and less water consumption”.

 He also referred to the water problems, adding, “A province in the vicinity of the Caspian Sea must not have water problems and it is essential that we work hard to resolve this problem”.

“Regarding the free zone, the government has done a great deal and its bill has been drafted, and we are waiting for the parliament and Guardian Council’s final approval,” he said.

Dr Rouhani also said that Rash-Astara, Qazvin-Rasht and Chabahar-Zahedan railway projects were underway.

The President also answered a question about relations with Turkmenistan on Incheh Borun Railway by saying, “Negotiations and financial calculations has been done with Turkmenistan”.

Answering a question about sending the message of peace and friendship to the neighbouring countries, he said, “We have good relations with our neighbours and we are trying to make these relations closer”.

 “Except one or two southern neighbours, our relations with other neighbouring countries are very good and close,” he continued.

He also said, “Those one or two countries have to resolve their own problems first and end the Yemeni crisis so that we can have better relations”.
