President Rouhani sent a message to condole Hojjatoleslam val-Moslemin Seyyed Abolghassem Shojaei’s passing and wished his bereaved family patience and health.
President Hassan Rouhani’s message reads:

We are all from Allah, and to Him we shall return (Holy Quran)
The passing of the skilful lecturer Hojjatoleslam val-Moslemin Seyyed Abolghassem Shojaei caused great grief and sorrow.
This pious preacher spend years of his life delivering effective speeches in different gatherings.
I hereby express my condolences over my old friend’s passing to his respectful family and wish health and patience for them and the highest rewards for him.
