In a meeting with Bolivian President's special envoy:

President: Major Iranian companies ready to offer technical, engineering services to Bolivia/Stressing the importance of next GECF Gas Summit in Bolivia

President Rouhani met with the Minister of Justice of Bolivia and the Bolivian President's special envoy, Héctor Arce Zaconeta and described Iran-Bolivia ties friendly and growing, stressing that major Iranian companies are ready to offer technical and engineering services to Bolivia.

In the meeting that was held on Monday, Dr Rouhani also said that Iran and Bolivia have close views in different bilateral and international issues, adding: "Bolivia is a revolutionary country in Latin America".

"Independent countries must stand together unitedly, and delegations from over 100 countries attending Iranian president's inauguration proved that independent and revolutionary countries are not isolated," he continued.

He also expressed hope that growing unity and integrity between and among independent countries such as Iran and Bolivia contribute to further development of cooperation and consultation in various international issues.

Referring to the next GECF Gas Summit in Bolivia, he said: "The summit can be an important factor for boosting unity among producers and determining a balanced price in the market".

Iran and Bolivia can cooperate in many fields related to gas, including exploration of gas fields and dependent industries, said Rouhani adding: "Iranian experts have valuable experiences in the field of exploring gas fields, extraction, and construction of refinery and gas transmission lines and Iran is ready to provide Bolivia with its experiences".

Dr Rouhani also voiced Iranian companies and experts' willingness and readiness to cooperate with Bolivia and offer technical and engineering services to the country, saying: "Continuous development of Latin American countries and promotion of people's welfare in these regions are very important for us".

"Thought and culture have no boundary just like art and culture, and therefore, Iran and Bolivia can cooperate and have good relations in various fields," the President added.

During the same meeting, the Minister of Justice of Bolivia, Héctor Arce Zaconeta, also handed over an official invitation of the President of Bolivia to Dr Rouhani for attending the coming GECF Gas Summit in Bolivia.

He said that Iran and Bolivia have had good, friendly relations, adding: "The Islamic Republic of Iran has got abundant capabilities and potentials in various fields and we have always admired Iran for its independence and self-reliance".

"We are willing to develop cooperation and friendships with Iran in different fields of mutual interest," he continued.
